Thanksgiving is a time to look at those who have nothing
No matter what is going on in my life, the Holidays always make me reflect. As the year draws to a close, I see all the things that I missed doing this year and the things I did accomplish. 2008 will go down in my mental notebook as the year of overcoming the fear of flying. MY brother had a show in Washington, DC. We couldn't get a seat on the same flight. So, with much trepidation, angst and sweat, I boarded the Jet Blue 1 hour flight to DC. It was quite difficult. I was covered with sweat as I landed but hell I DID it! Anyway, last August I went to Florida to visit some friends. I got to shoot down to Disney for a few days, then hang out at the beach!
Then I get to thinking about how troubled our world has become. When you come right down to it we ALL have something to be grateful about. Sometime the world seems so dam frustrating: Wars, poverty, hunger, disease, etc. So anonymously helping is always a good thing to do in life.
Lets all "get out of ourselves" and help someone have a happier thanksgiving?
